The West Columbia Planning Commission Monday will consider a request of “Redevelopment Floating Zone designation for the Buff Property Redevelopment Project,” according to its agenda.
That request comes as the (Charleston) Post and Courier is reporting that the owners of the Buff property on Sunset Boulevard want to build 300 apartments. The newspaper report also described the apartments as “high-end” and said the complex would include “a retail complex with a supermarket.”
According to the article the Buff Family owns more than 50 acres west of Lexington Medical Center.
